We are learning about different music instruments

Today Mrs D came in to teach us about different music instruments. We got to play them all together at the end, it was so much fun!

"The one where we had to tap the instrument was a little bit hard. The shaking instrument was lots of fun." said Salma.

When I read out loud, I can find words that end with the same sounds to help me read.

We are learning to sequence our ideas

In class, we were talking about our morning and afternoon routines at home. I wrote a story about what I do in my day, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep in the night.

"I can see that number 2 comes before 3 and 4 comes after." said Salma.

We are learning how to read back our writing

After writing time, we sit in a sharing circle. Here I am sharing my story with Jonathan.

"My story is I eat chips on my table. Yummy. I can point to the words as I read my writing to him." said Salma.
